The Association has been organized and exists for the purposes of promoting the game of polo with an overarching goal of improving the sport, coordinating the activities of its Member Clubs and Registered Players (as defined below), arranging, allocating, and supervising polo tournaments, competitions, and games and providing rules, handicaps, and conditions for those tournaments, competitions, and games, including the safety and welfare of participants and mounts.

A lot of raised mallets for plays that had enough distance away. The players just forced when some of those plays were to far away to really be a foul I think.

embarrassing This sport or game is for Iranian kings. Korosh Kabir had a special charm in this game. Do you steal history and give it a name???? The name of this game is polo and it should be called by this name because it is the inventor and the original game of the kings of Persia. Do we say that football is ours or did we change its name??? Football belongs to the English. This belongs to Persia, so respect it and call it (Chugan)
While it did start in Persia, the name that it is commonly called by now is not a person nor are most sports, the game in current times gets its English name from the Balti language, from its word for 'ball', polo. It is cognate with the Standard Tibetan pulu, also meaning 'ball'. Most sports are not named after people which I believe to be a good thing

Why should we accept it so easily because England is comfortable with this name, so its name will be this from now on. So why do ping pong or karate or taekwondo have their original names? Only the history of Persia can be stolen?? Because it doesn't have the right leaders to make their voices heard?? No, Iran has people who love their history and the name of this sport is polo forever.
